Host By D Ellis "Mr. Entertainment" at The Black Academey of Arts and Letters in Downtown Dallas. The host of choice for several “A-List” events, D Ellis, will host as we honor our network of supportive organizations, businesses, partners and volunteers. These individuals have aided the growth and development of Free The Streets Non -Profit Organization. New Orleans native and poetress Sunni Patterson will be Keynote Speaker. Patterson has been a featured performer at the many of the United States’ premier spoken word venues, including HBO’s Def Poetry Jam, and has appeared on the Arsenio Hall Show. Patterson also received the National Underground Spoken Word Poetry Award for the “most inspirational poet.” Honores include Tommie M. Allen Recretaional Center, Allstars Project of Dallas, Michael Guinn Entertainment, Pastor Rickie Clark and so many more. Ticket price includes dinner with an available vegetarian option, dancing and reservations for the Positive Vibes w/ Sunni Patterson, happening the night before featuring special performances by Sunni Patterson and many more at Sandaga Eightthirteen. Join us for a weekend of empowerment and appreciation. The contributions from this event will help Free The Streets gain funds toward yearly budget of $16,000 (2016 project details).
