The Host Originally from Texarkana, Arkansas, “D. Elli$ aka Mr. Entertainment!” moved to Dallas, Texas, to pursue a music career when his comedic personality catapulted him up the success ladder. This comedian-actor-musician worked faithfully in corporate America until he was encouraged by family and friends to channel his sense of humor into a dynamic and unique stage act. He was invited to do a set by the manager of the local Improv, which led to a weekly stint at another well-known entertainment club in Dallas. It was there that he was discovered and invited to open for Cedric the Entertainer in a three-minute act. He proved to be a roaring success and his moniker as “Mr. Entertainment!” was established. He quickly gained a national following on the comedy club circuit, performing at numerous locations including, Laugh-A-Palooza, Improvs, and the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles with Steve Harvey, Kim Coles, Katt Williams and Ricky Smiley. He’s been featured on Def Jam for Podcast, and has done voice-over and character work for the “Tom Joyner Morning Show,” a popular nationally syndicated radio show. The LineUp
